I'm in my fifth year of teaching. I feel like I've already 'done' it all. This year I am working with 2nd graders; however, I started out my year with 1st graders. What a difference a year makes in age difference! I have some pretty yucky cards stacked against me, but I am determined to make it through this year. Well not just make it through, I plan on my students coming out ahead of other 2nd graders. I guess this is my outlet of choice. I'm sure I'll laugh, cry, and moan my way through for a while.
Bottom line: I'm determined!
